I was watching G4 on T.V. and on there it said Guitar Hero 4 was to be released fall 2008.

you know what, i LOVE metal to death. i love metallica, maiden, pantera, judas priest, all those bands. but FUCK ALL YOU GUYS hating on other peoples music. and anyway, all those “emo” and “punk” bands with fit perfectly in with Guitar Hero 4. GH4 now has all the instruments, Blink 182- someone in a previous comment said they have no music talent. well fuck off, Travis Barker, is arguably one of the best drummers to live, Tom and Mark have some of the best vocals ive ever heard. My Chemical Romance- Who gives a shit about their lyrics, Gerard Way has a unique voice, Frank Iero is a great guitar with amazing riffs and nice catchy solos. and the drummer is insane. Fall Out Boy- Bass is rediculous, catchy and hard drum beats (look at dead on arival RB drums to prove that.) Avenged Sevenfold- To even fucking start with them. One of the best bands to live, all their influnces are from metallica and maiden. Synyster Gates is arguably one of the best guitarist to live, The Rev is one of the best drummers ive ever heard. M. Shadows has a great voice even after he had vocal surgery.

why don’t they just choose some decent, newish, catchy songs? why does it all have to be about the most geekish technical guitar songs? the reason bands like sum 41, blink, smashing pumpkins, linkin park, chili peppers etc are so successful is because of their huge appeal to evryone. they make catchy songs that people like to listen to and that are fun. why not introduce newer songs that people actually buy and know. Metallica, ACDC, Def Leppard and Depp Purple were all great in their day but i (personally, just my opinion here guys) think that the GH song list needs an update. There are plenty of bands today that have just as big an appeal as those guys did in their day so why not give them a share of the song list?
