To begin, we now have a Release Date for Guitar Hero Van Halen which is slated to hit shelves on December 22nd, 2009.

In addition to the release date, Activision also decided to announce the Full Guitar Hero Van Halen Song List.

I am definitely glad “Hot for Teacher” make the cut though.

Activision confirmed the speculation today which a statement from their spokesperson.

The Guitar Hero Van Halen game is said to take you through all aspects of Van Halen’s style from spandex and big Hair to modern day Van Halen!

Sucks for the guys left out!

The E3 expo as far as Guitar Hero stuff goes has consisted mostly of DJ Hero and Guitar Hero 5. While Guitar Hero is focused on promoting those products, it also has other games coming up this year. For example, Guitar Hero Van Halen (Hard Rock Van Halen).

To this point, there has been little information released about the upcoming Guitar Hero Van Halen. Lucky for us though that they decided to set up a trailer video at the E3 Expo and even more lucky is that the people at Destructiod managed to get a video of the game!

The upcoming game Guitar Hero Van Halen currently has very little information released for it.

It has even less information available for the console specific Nintendo Wii.
